Voter Registration

You must be registered to vote. If you have changed your name or address since registering, a new registration card must be completed. By registering prior to election day, your name and address will appear on the polling place roster. Pick up a voter registration card at the following locations in Chanhassen: City Hall (7700 Market Blvd.), Chanhassen Library (7711 Kerber Blvd.) or at the Carver County Auditor’s Office or Carver County License Center in Chaska. Registration cards are also in your state income tax booklet or also available online at www.sos.state.mn.us.

An individual may register any time before the 20th day preceding any election, on election day at the polling locations or when submitting an absentee ballot.
Registration cards are available at city and township offices, libraries and the county auditor’s office. If you changed your address, you may register to vote when you change your driver’s license.
To register on election day you must have a State of Minnesota recognized identification showing your present address on it.
